Incarnality.
I love this word, invented by poet Rod Jellema to indicate the blending of the carnival-like, celebratory connotation of the word carnality of human experience with the Christian theological implications of incarnation--God become man, and the imaginative, creative outworking of the human spirit. In this blog I hope to honor the three-fold chord created by these aspects of life, a chord which keeps me from falling out of my own life.
